Baltimore, MD – (April 18, 2023) – Great Wolf Lodge is collaborating with Duff Goldman and his
Baltimore-based Charm City Cakes to develop special cupcakes for the grand opening of Great Wolf
Lodge Maryland. Inspired by the brand’s recently released animated film, The Great Wolf Pack, each
cupcake will include a scene from the animated film, brought to life through the creative artistry of
Goldman and the Charm City Cakes team.
The limited edition Great Wolf Pack Adventure Cupcakes will be available at Great Wolf Lodge
Maryland starting on opening day and will be sold through Labor Day weekend, or until quantities
run out. The cupcakes will retail for $6, with 100% of the revenue generated going to Believe in
Tomorrow Children’s House at John Hopkins, a charity organization that provides complimentary
overnight accommodations and meals to families with children receiving treatment at the hospital.
Goldman and Charm City Cakes created four different Great Wolf Pack Adventure Cupcakes as part
of the collaboration.
They include:
• Time to Slide: A delightful vanilla cupcake topped with creamy blue buttercream frosting,
and imagery of the Great Wolf Pack sliding through water filled tunnels and into a shimmering
stream of blue sugar crystal sprinkles.
• That’s What I’m Howling About: A rich chocolate cupcake with pinkish-purple buttercream
frosting, lined with marshmallow fondant paw prints and covered in sprinkles with scene of
the Great Wolf Pack howling together.
• Off to Adventure: A vanilla confetti cupcake with rich green buttercream frosting,
marshmallow fondant trees, acorn shaped sprinkles and an action scene of the Great Wolf
Pack running through the forest.
• Chillax: A decadent chocolate cupcake featuring brown buttercream frosting, marshmallow
fondant trees with tree shaped sprinkles, a blue candy lake and a scene of the Great Wolf
Pack relaxing on a yellow raft.

delicious Great Wolf Pack Adventure Cupcakes, and bring a taste of Baltimore’s iconic Charm City
Cakes bakery to the families staying at our new Maryland resort,” shared Brooke Patterson, Chief

we both share in wanting to give back to the Baltimore community, through our donation to
Children’s House at John Hopkins.”

collaborating with Great Wolf and leveraging their characters, and their adventures, to bring some
Charm City Cakes creations to their new resort. I hope families love eating them as much as we loved

Goldman.

The cupcakes will be sold at Wood’s End Creamery, the confectionary shop and ice cream parlor at
the resort. Wood’s End Creamery is just one of many eateries coming to Great Wolf Lodge Maryland,
ranging from elevated full-service dining at Barnwood to quick-service favorites at Buckets, and pizza
and pasta offerings at Hungry as a Wolf.
Great Wolf Lodge Maryland is scheduled to open June 29, 2023. In celebration of the Duff Goldman
collaboration, Great Wolf Lodge is launching a special promotion where guests can get up to 30% off
the room rate, and receive a $30 dining credit, when using promotional code CAKE. This promotion
