The Aberdeen IronBirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in Aberdeen, Maryland. They are a Class A Short Season affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, competing in the High-A East league. The team was founded in 2002 and plays its home games at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium, named after baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr., who hails from Aberdeen.
