Tony Martin is a nationally recognized head basketball coach with over 30 years’ experience and has enjoyed working with every level of player, from beginners at the youth level through professional athletes. The longest running basketball camp in Harford County serves every level of playing experience. With skill development ranging from a fun game of red light-green light, teaching triple threat and listening skills to beginners through teaching multiple ways to defend and attack ball screen action to players aspiring to take their game to the next level. The Harford Soccer Camp is a multi-week co-ed youth soccer camp focused on developing the physical and mental development of young soccer players on and off the field, while providing a SAFE and FUN atmosphere. Headquartered in north eastern Maryland, StarFinders offers an array of performing arts Summer Camps for children ages 4 - 17. Our schedule includes musical theater, film making, themed elementary and early childhood experiences, the Voices! A Joyful noise singing camp, and more.
We are an inclusive organization where experience and talent are appreciated, but kindness and effort are equally rewarded. No matter what camp you choose, your child will be welcomed and nurtured to strive to be a better artistic version of themselves. We have zero tolerance for bullying or egos. No matter what role, part, or job a camper is assigned, they are all treated with equal kindness and direction. By the end of our camps, your child will have life-long friendships and will sleep all weekend when we give them back to you.
Our camps are directed by Jim Ellis, an award winning and published composer, song writer, actor, and teacher. Mr. Ellis is a multi-instrumentalist (piano, clarinet, sax) and composer for film, TV, and games. He studied Music Education at the Univ. of Maryland and earned a degree in music composition from the Berklee College of Music. He is currently pursuing a masters in music composition for TV, film, and games at Berklee. StarFinder Camps is the sister company of Harford Music and Arts.
