In April 2013 Greg Knapstein passed away suddenly; he was 31 years old. His family made the decision to donate his organs and 4 people were given the gift of life! Greg’s heart, lungs and both kidneys were transplanted successfully. Greg’s skin, muscle, tendon, bone and eyes were also gifted to those on the list.Greg’s loved ones decided they wanted to share Greg’s story and raise awareness about organ donation. It became their mission. They hold a bull roast and a bingo every year to do just this.
The 2nd Annual Bingo is Saturday, 9/17/2016 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Forest Hill. The doors open at 6 pm and bingo starts at 7pm. Admission is $20 and this includes 20 games, if tickets are purchased in advance the admission comes with three special games for free. This is a Longaberger Basket/31 Bag Bingo and each prize is valued between $75 and $125. There will be 3 special bingo games, 1 50/50 cash bingo game, 3 raffles and door prizes. Food will be available for purchase. One-hundred percent of the proceeds benefit The Living Legacy Foundation in Greg’s memory.
